Grief Support
Thompson Funeral Service understands that it is very difficult to say good bye. You may feel as though you have been struck by a tidal wave, lost and struggling with the depths of your private sorrow. No one can tell you how to grieve. There is no normal time span during which healing takes place.
The grief process is never the same for any two people. Don't compare yourself with others in similar situations. Heal in your own way and in your own time.
Meanwhile, you may find the following web sites of assistance to you and your family in your time of need.
Grief Resources Catalog - a resource center dedicated to providing grief support products for those who may be grieving the loss of a loved one. The grief support materials found here are designed to assist those in a journey through grief; and for friends, relatives, and grief professionals who want to help someone who is experiencing grief. You can also find our Funeral Director, Steve Mitchell's booklet entitled It's OK: A Journey Through Grief on this site. |
